There is nothing like Microsoft Ignite with 30,000 global attendees, Microsoft Product Team attendance and huge exhibitor list every fall. However, the Microsoft Ignite Tour 2019 coming to Washington, D.C. sure does come close. Some of the same great content, presented by the same great people, with the addition of local experts rounding out the presentation and answering questions at the Microsoft booths.

Luckily for me, I was selected by Microsoft organizers to present two theatre sessions, the first one is Rolling Out OneDrive Successfully and the second one is Structuring Your Migration for Success. In both sessions, I’ll share my experience and insights on doing both things – setting up OneDrive and migrating content into Office 365.

Rolling Out OneDrive Successfully
I’m so passionate about enhancing employee collaboration and productivity and OneDrive for Business supports my crusade. Mobility, flexibility, external and internal collaboration rely on an individual’s ability to access and share content from anywhere at any time. OneDrive for Business powers your employees across Microsoft 365 experiences to meet these unwavering end-user goals. With great integration, between Windows 10 and Office 365, comes great dependencies to meet expectations of employees and the need of IT security and compliance. In this theater session we’ll look at the key considerations when building your adoption plan of OneDrive, migration methods for moving content and Administration.

Structuring Your Migration for Success
Jill Hannemann and I have presented dozens of sessions on migrations over the years and one thing remains the same, a plan is critical to the success of your migration. Our typical audience has been filled with With the hundreds of migrations I’ve done for clients, I've seen how two critical decisions can create a successful migration. These decisions are the balance of structuring your migration between the change management approach and the technical architecture. In this theater session we'll discuss the variables (timeline, end-user interaction, database size, SharePoint Team size, etc.) that  affect this balance.

Microsoft Ignite Tour is coming to Washington, D.C. on February 4-5, 2019, it’s not too late to register! See you there.
